Red Kettle is Full of Holiday Spirit

 

The clanking sound of the bell echoing off the walls within the entryway of SuperOne foods may annoy some yet for others it’s the best holiday tune ever.  Because for some, the Red Kettle maybe the only source for relief.  Best news is all of this money stays here, in Cass County.

 

Neighbors helping each other and in 2023/2024 neighbors donated just over $23,000,00.  A true testament to the generosity of our community and how we rally for each other in all we do. 

 

From start to finish the Red Kettle Campaign is local.  Local donations, counted and deposited into a local bank then distributed locally. 

 

The Red Kettle campaign is quite simple.  Attract attention with a bell, collect spare change in a Red Kettle, give that money to local charities and distribute.  No “admin” fees for the main office.  Simple math – your pocket – to kettle – to recipient. 

 

Although the campaign itself is Salvation Army’s, it’s coordinated thru Walker Rotary and overseen by Ineke Leer of LEER Title Services.
